PRT Assamese Teacher Position at Aroma English School, Bahri
Teach Assamese as a Primary Teacher (PRT) in Class I to V at Aroma English School, Bahri, Barpeta. This role focuses on developing language skills through interactive lessons, cultural integration, and age-appropriate content. You’ll design engaging activities to build fluency, grammar, and vocabulary while aligning with school curriculum standards.
Prepare daily lesson plans that incorporate storytelling, poetry, and regional Assamese traditions to enhance student engagement. Assess students’ progress through oral exams, writing tasks, and participatory evaluations. Maintain a supportive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to speak and express themselves in Assamese.
Hold yourself accountable for ensuring students meet minimum language proficiency benchmarks by the end of the academic year. Collaborate with the principal and subject coordinators to refine teaching methods based on student feedback and school performance data.
Graduates with a Bachelor’s degree in Assamese or related field are eligible. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in Assamese or language pedagogy, is required. No TET/CTET certification is mandatory but preferred.
