Job Description
PRT Social Science Teacher Position at Aroma English School, Barpeta
Teach Social Science subjects including history, geography, civics, and economics to Class I to V students in a well-structured, engaging curriculum. Develop lesson plans aligned with the Assam Board syllabus while ensuring interactive and experiential learning. Maintain a positive classroom environment that fosters critical thinking and student participation.
Plan and conduct weekly assessments to evaluate student understanding, provide constructive feedback, and track progress. Collaborate with the principal and teachers to implement school-wide initiatives in social awareness and civic education. Ensure compliance with all academic and disciplinary policies of Aroma English School.
Graduate degree in Social Science or related field with at least two years of teaching experience. Possession of a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory. A TET or CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory.
