Sainik School | Goalpara is seeking a dedicated TGT Social Science Teacher to join its esteemed faculty. This role involves shaping young minds through engaging lessons in history, geography, economics, and current affairs, aligning with the school’s disciplined yet progressive curriculum.
Responsibilities
Teach Social Science subjects to students in classes 9 to 12, ensuring alignment with the CBSE syllabus and Sainik School’s values. Develop lesson plans, assessments, and interactive teaching methods to foster critical thinking and regional awareness. Participate in extracurricular activities like debates, model rallies, and cultural events to enrich student engagement. Collaborate with the principal and teachers to maintain academic excellence and discipline. Attend staff meetings and professional development workshops to stay updated on teaching methodologies.
Qualification
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in Social Science or a related field. Possess a strong foundation in history, geography, economics, and political science. Experience in teaching Social Science at the secondary level is beneficial, though not mandatory.
Experience
Minimum of four years of teaching experience at the secondary school level, preferably in a disciplined institution like Sainik School. Familiarity with Sainik School’s curriculum and values is a plus. Ability to manage classroom conduct and student behavior effectively.
Salary and Employment Type
The selected candidate will be offered a full-time salary of Rs.25,000 to Rs.35,000 per month, along with other benefits as per the school’s policy.
