Responsibilities
Plan and execute comprehensive geography lessons for classes IX to XII, aligning with the state curriculum and assessment standards.
Use a mix of visual aids, field studies, and interactive technology to enhance student understanding of physical and human geography.
Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, and projects, providing constructive feedback.
Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate interdisciplinary projects and school events.
Maintain accurate attendance records and report student performance to the department head regularly.
Participate in faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and school committees as required.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a secondary school setting.
Post‑graduate degree in Geography or related field.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed certification is mandatory; TET/CTET is preferred but not compulsory.
Strong command of both Hindi and English for classroom instruction.
Demonstrated ability to use educational technology and multimedia tools in teaching.
Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
Compensation
Competitive salary ranging from Rs.30,000 to Rs.50,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The package includes standard statutory benefits and opportunities for professional growth within the school community.
