Job Description
Aastha Gurukul Academy in Pakthaul, Teghra, Begusarai is seeking an experienced TGT Chemistry Teacher to join their team. This role involves teaching Chemistry to high school students, fostering a strong foundation in scientific principles while ensuring engaging and interactive lessons. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for chemistry education, adaptability to diverse student learning needs, and a clear understanding of how to make complex concepts accessible.
The teaching duties will primarily focus on delivering structured lessons aligned with the Bihar Board curriculum. You will prepare engaging classroom activities, use visual aids, and employ practical demonstrations to illustrate key concepts like chemical reactions, periodic trends, and lab safety. Your ability to simplify abstract ideas for students while maintaining academic rigor will be crucial.
Assessment will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will design and conduct regular evaluations—such as quizzes, practical tests, and project-based assessments—to gauge student understanding. Feedback will be given both in class and through written reports, helping students improve their grasp of chemistry fundamentals. Your role will also include monitoring student progress, identifying areas where they need additional support, and tailoring teaching methods to suit individual learning styles.
Chemistry is more than memorization; it’s about curiosity and problem-solving. Your classroom will be a place where students explore how chemistry applies to everyday life—whether it’s understanding why some foods ferment or how medicines work. You’ll collaborate with other teachers to ensure a cohesive learning experience across subjects. The salary for this position is competitive, offering Rs. 16,000 to Rs. 35,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
A background in chemistry education is essential, with a postgraduate degree in Chemistry or a related field. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be highly valued. Two years of teaching experience, particularly in high school Chemistry, would be a significant asset. If you’re passionate about shaping young minds in science and eager to contribute to Aastha Gurukul Academy’s academic growth, this could be a rewarding opportunity.
