Responsibilities
Teach Hindi as a core subject to students from Class 6 to Class 12, following the curriculum aligned with Bihar Board standards. Develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate modern teaching methods and cultural relevance to keep students interested. Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to improve students' writing, speaking, and comprehension skills.
Prepare and maintain subject-wise records, including attendance, progress reports, and examination results. Collaborate with other teachers to create interdisciplinary projects that integrate Hindi with other subjects like literature, history, or social studies. Organise extracurricular activities such as poetry recitals, essay competitions, or debate clubs to foster creativity and public speaking skills.
Ensure classroom management is smooth, maintaining a respectful and inclusive atmosphere where all students feel valued. Stay updated with new teaching techniques, educational technology tools, and Hindi grammar updates as per government guidelines. Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and academic planning sessions to contribute to the overall growth of the institution.
Qualification
Hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with a postgraduate degree in Hindi or related literature. Possess a valid Teaching Eligibility Test (TET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) certificate, though not mandatory for this role.
Experience
Minimum three years of teaching experience in Hindi or related subjects at the secondary or higher secondary level. Familiarity with the Bihar State Board syllabus and examination patterns is highly beneficial. Experience in motivating students and adapting teaching methods for diverse learning abilities is a plus.
Salary and Employment Type
The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs. 22,000 to Rs. 35,000 per month. This is a full-time position at St. Xavier +2 Academy, offering a supportive work environment dedicated to academic excellence.
