About This Role
We are seeking a qualified and passionate TGT Chemistry Teacher to join our faculty team. As a Chemistry Teacher at The Cambridge School, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Chemistry lessons to students in grades 9-12. You will work closely with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum, assess student progress, and contribute to the school's academic and extracurricular activities.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver dynamic Chemistry lessons to students in grades 9-12.
- Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the CBSE guidelines and The Cambridge School's academic standards.
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations, quizzes, and exams.
- Provide individualized support to students who require extra assistance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement Science projects and experiments.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the school's academic and extracurricular activities.
- Attend workshops, seminars, and training programs to enhance your teaching skills and stay updated with the latest developments in Chemistry.
- Contribute to the development of the school's Chemistry department and curriculum.
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a specialization in Chemistry. A CTET or TET certification is preferred but not mandatory. You must have a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a reputable school, with a strong background in Chemistry and a passion for teaching.
