Classroom Instruction: Deliver engaging lectures, experiments, and discussions on topics like genetics, ecology, and human physiology. Adapt teaching methods to cater to diverse learning abilities.
Lab Coordination: Supervise biology labs, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Assist in setting up experiments, collecting data, and guiding students through hands-on activities.
Student Guidance: Support students in understanding complex biological concepts, providing additional help for weaker students and encouraging those excelling in the subject.
Assessment and Evaluation: Prepare and administer tests, quizzes, and projects to assess students’ understanding. Provide constructive feedback and track progress over time.
Professional Growth: Participate in school-wide academic planning sessions. Stay updated with advancements in biology education through workshops and training programs.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Biology with a specialization in relevant areas. A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is mandatory for teaching positions.
Four years of teaching experience in high school biology is essential. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is highly beneficial for career advancement.
Compensation and Location
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of Rs.40,000 to Rs.50,000 per month, along with additional benefits. The role is based in Manpur, Gaya, Bihar, with travel arrangements covered for school-related duties.
