Strategic Responsibilities
* Plan and implement English curriculum for classes VI to X
* Develop and conduct workshops for teachers to improve English language skills
* Supervise and mentor English teachers, providing guidance and support
* Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress and improvement plans
* Collaborate with other departments to integrate English with other subjects
* Develop and manage the English library and resources
* Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to improve student performance
* Develop and implement strategies to improve student participation and engagement in English classes
* Lead the English department in achieving academic targets and goals
* Represent the school in English language conferences and workshops
What You Bring
We require a postgraduate degree in English Literature or English Education with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed. degree. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in teaching English in a school setting, with a strong understanding of the CBSE curriculum. Leadership experience is highly desirable.
