Daily Responsibilities
Plan and conduct engaging PE sessions, ensuring age-appropriate activities that promote fitness and sportsmanship. Organize group exercises, games, and drills to maintain student participation and energy levels. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate PE into the school’s holistic development approach. Monitor student progress in physical activities and provide constructive feedback.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Design and implement seasonal sports events, including inter-house competitions and local tournaments, to foster camaraderie. Work with the school’s sports committee to update equipment and facilities for better learning outcomes. Ensure compliance with school policies on safety, hygiene, and emergency procedures during physical activities. Participate in school events like sports days and cultural fairs to showcase PE achievements.
Periodic Responsibilities
Assist in organizing school-wide fitness camps or workshops to introduce students to new sports disciplines. Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss student performance in PE and suggest improvements. Maintain detailed records of student participation, attendance, and progress in physical activities.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a focus on Physical Education. Possess a valid TET/CTET certificate as a preference. A minimum of one year of teaching or sports-related experience in a school setting is required. Familiarity with local sports and community engagement is an asset.
Salary and Location
The selected candidate will be offered a monthly salary ranging from Rs.14,000 to Rs.27,000, depending on qualifications and experience. The PRT Physical Education Teacher will be based in Nardiganj, Nawada, Bihar, reporting directly to the school’s physical education department.
