Reporting and scope
Reports directly to the Head of the Commerce Department.
Core duties
Academic instruction and curriculum development
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Accountancy, covering topics such as financial statements, cost accounting, and taxation.
Design and assess assignments, tests, and projects that align with state standards and national exam patterns.
Student assessment and guidance
Conduct regular quizzes and mock tests to gauge student progress.
Provide individual feedback and remedial support to students needing additional help.
Mentor students for competitive exams like UGC-NET and CSIR-NET in related subjects.
Administrative responsibilities
Maintain accurate attendance and grade records.
Prepare monthly reports on student performance for the department.
Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to curriculum review sessions.
Qualification and experience
Postgraduate degree in Commerce, Accounting or related field.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed required; TET/CTET preferred but not mandatory.
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the PGT level.
Compensation and location
Full‑time position based in Patna, Bihar.
Salary range Rs.40,000 – Rs.70,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
