PGT Accountancy Teacher Position at Gyan Jyoti Residential Public School, Patna
Teach Accountancy at the senior secondary level, ensuring alignment with CBSE syllabus and exam patterns. Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans, including practical sessions on financial statements and accounting principles. Monitor student progress, provide individual feedback, and help them master key concepts like double-entry bookkeeping and cost accounting.
Prepare and assess practical assignments, exams, and projects to evaluate understanding of theoretical and applied aspects. Collaborate with the academic team to design curriculum enhancements and integrate modern teaching tools like software simulations. Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance to support overall academic planning.
Hold regular parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress and address concerns related to Accountancy studies. Participate in school events and extracurricular activities to foster a well-rounded learning environment. Ensure compliance with school policies on grading, attendance, and subject-specific standards.
Hold a postgraduate degree in Accountancy or Commerce with a minimum of two years of teaching experience in the relevant subject. Possession of a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory for this role. A valid TET/CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory.
The selected candidate will be offered a monthly salary ranging from Rs.30,000 to Rs.55,000, depending on qualifications and experience. The position is based in Patna, Bihar, and is full-time. Applications are invited for this role.
