Role

Responsibilities

Participate in school events like cultural fests, where history can be woven into storytelling or debates. Maintain updated teaching resources, including textbooks, maps, and multimedia tools, to support modern learning.
Qualification
Hold a postgraduate degree in History or a related discipline from a recognized university. Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification to qualify for this position. A TET/CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory. Experience in teaching history at the secondary or senior secondary level is essential.
Experience
Minimum two years of teaching experience at the school level, preferably in a history-focused curriculum. Familiarity with Bihar’s educational standards and local historical sites would be an asset. Ability to mentor junior teachers and contribute to curriculum development is highly valued.
Compensation
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs.40,000 to Rs.70,000 per month, along with additional benefits like performance-based allowances and professional development opportunities.
