Physical Education Teacher – PRT
Manava Bharati International School in Patna, Bihar is looking for a dedicated Physical Education teacher to join our faculty. The role requires a graduate with at least two years of teaching experience and a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Candidates should be enthusiastic about promoting health, fitness, and teamwork among students.
Responsibilities
1. Design and implement engaging physical education lessons that align with the school curriculum.
2. Conduct daily warm‑up and cool‑down sessions to ensure student safety.
3. Organize intra‑school sports events and coordinate inter‑school competitions.
4. Monitor student progress, maintain attendance records, and submit reports to senior staff.
5. Develop age‑appropriate fitness programs for different grade levels.
6. Maintain and inspect sports equipment, ensuring it is safe and functional.
7. Collaborate with teachers from other subjects to integrate physical activity into classroom learning.
8. Provide individual guidance to students needing extra support or motivation.
9. Uphold school policies on discipline, hygiene, and sportsmanship during all activities.
10. Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the physical education department.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree in any discipline.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed certification required; TET or CTET preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of sports, games, and fitness training techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Employment Details
- Full‑time position.
- Salary range: Rs.17,000 – Rs.30,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
