Role Summary
The Dance Teacher Job in Purnia will lead creative movement programs, cultural events, and student performances at Gd Goenka School Purnia. What You Will Do
Plan and conduct daily dance sessions for students aged 6 to 14, ensuring age-appropriate skill development.
Choreograph and rehearse dance sequences for Republic Day, Annual Day, and inter-school competitions.
Organize auditions, costume fittings, and stage preparations for all school cultural programs.
Maintain discipline, punctuality, and safety during dance practices and performances.
Collaborate with music teachers and event coordinators to integrate dance with school activities.
Document student progress through video recordings and written feedback.
Coordinate with parents for costume approvals and rehearsal schedules.
Arrange workshops with professional dancers twice a year for skill enhancement.
Who Can Apply
Must Have
Graduation in any discipline with 3 years of experience in dance instruction or choreography.
Proficiency in classical, folk, or contemporary dance styles with performance experience.
Good to Have
D.El.Ed or B.Ed qualification for administrative credibility.
Prior experience in school dance programs or summer camps.
Familiarity with Bihar’s regional dance forms like Jat-Jatin or Jhumar.
