About This Role
The LIBRARIAN at Dayawanti Punj Model School is responsible for managing the school library efficiently. This role supports students, staff, and parents by maintaining an organized collection of books and learning resources. Key Responsibilities
Organize and maintain all books, periodicals, and digital resources in the library.
Assist students and teachers in locating required study materials quickly.
Catalog new arrivals and update the library database regularly.
Ensure the library remains clean, quiet, and conducive to study.
Coordinate with staff to plan library-related activities and reading programs.
Manage the issuance and return of books while keeping accurate records.
Recommend age-appropriate books and resources to support the curriculum.
Supervise library staff and volunteers to maintain smooth operations.
Who Can Apply
Must Have
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
Minimum 2 years of experience in library management or administration.
Familiarity with library software and cataloging systems.
Good to Have
Diploma or certification in Library Science.
Experience in a school or educational institution library.
Preferred Skills
Strong leadership skills to guide library staff and student helpers.
Excellent communication skills to interact with students, teachers, and parents.

Salary and Benefits
