What is this Biology Teacher job about?
We are looking for a Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) Biology Teacher to join Dayawanti Punj Model School in Sitamarhi, Bihar. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Biology to students from Classes 11 and 12, and preparing them for board examinations.
What will you actually do every day?
As a PGT Biology Teacher, your daily tasks will include preparing and delivering lectures on Biology, conducting practical classes, assessing student performance, evaluating assignments and projects, and providing individual attention to students who need extra help. You will also be responsible for maintaining the lab and ensuring that all equipment is in good working condition. Additionally, you will be expected to participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of the school's curriculum.
Who can apply?
To be eligible for this role, you should have a postgraduate degree in Biology with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. A certification in CTET or TET is preferred, but not mandatory. You should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching Biology to classes 11 and 12.
