Leadership Opportunity
As a PGT Physical Education Teacher at Dayawanti Punj Model School in Sitamarhi, Bihar, you will lead the physical education department and inspire students to achieve their best in sports and games. Strategic Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a comprehensive physical education curriculum for students from class VI to XII
* Plan and conduct physical education classes, sports events, and competitions
* Recruit and train school teams for inter-school competitions and district-level tournaments
* Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate physical education into the school's curriculum
* Develop and maintain a safe and healthy sports environment for students
* Organize sports camps, workshops, and seminars for students and teachers
* Conduct assessment and evaluation of students' physical fitness and provide feedback
* Develop and implement a sports and physical education budget
* Foster a positive and supportive school culture through sports and physical activity
* Lead and mentor other physical education teachers and staff members
* Develop and implement a physical education teacher training program for teachers
* Collaborate with the school's administration to develop a sports policy and vision for the school
* Develop and implement a physical education program for students with special needs
What You Bring
* Post-graduate degree in Physical Education or a related field
* B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
* CTET or TET certification (not required but preferred)
* 2+ years of experience in teaching physical education in a school setting
* Strong leadership and management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to develop and implement curriculum and programs
* Ability to lead and motivate students and staff
* Familiarity with the Bihar state education system and government regulations
