Organize and supervise school sports events, tournaments, and extracurricular activities like cricket, basketball, volleyball, and athletics. Ensure safety protocols are followed during all physical activities to prevent injuries. Work closely with the principal and staff to advocate for sports infrastructure improvements, such as playgrounds and equipment upgrades.
Instruct students in fundamental sports skills, including techniques for popular games and teamwork. Foster a competitive yet inclusive sports culture within the school community. Mentor student athletes, providing guidance on discipline, sportsmanship, and personal growth.
Prepare and maintain detailed records of student participation in sports, including attendance, performance, and achievements. Assist in organizing annual sports day events, including planning logistics, promotions, and judging criteria. Represent the school in local inter-school competitions and community sports initiatives.
Ensure compliance with school policies on discipline, attendance, and student conduct during Physical Education sessions. Work with the school’s health and wellness committee to promote nutrition and fitness awareness among students. Engage with parents through regular updates on student progress and sports achievements.
