Responsibilities
Teach Social Science subjects including history, geography, and civics to Class 6-8 students. Develop engaging lesson plans that align with the CBSE curriculum while incorporating Bastar’s cultural and geographical context. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
Prepare and deliver interactive classroom sessions, including field trips and project-based learning where possible. Collaborate with the principal and teachers to ensure cohesive curriculum implementation. Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and respect for diverse perspectives.
Qualification
Hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) degree from a recognized institution. Possess a valid Teaching Eligibility Test (TET) certificate, though not mandatory for this position. Ensure graduation in Social Science or related subjects is completed.
Experience
Two years of teaching experience in a primary or upper primary school setting is required. Familiarity with Bastar’s educational challenges and student demographics is a plus. Experience with diverse learning styles and inclusive classroom management is beneficial.
