Teaching Responsibilities

Planning and Preparation
Prepare comprehensive syllabus materials, lab experiments, and assessment tools to support effective teaching. Stay updated on educational trends and incorporate innovative teaching strategies into daily lessons. Organize field trips and guest lectures to enhance students’ understanding of biological sciences.
Assessment and Evaluation
Conduct regular assessments through quizzes, projects, and exams to measure student progress. Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their understanding of biology concepts. Maintain detailed records of student performance to inform instructional adjustments.
Student Support and Mentorship
Act as a mentor to biology students, offering guidance on academic and career aspirations. Foster a supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and explore scientific curiosity. Collaborate with other teachers to address student-specific challenges.
Coordination and Collaboration
Work closely with the principal and department heads to align biology curriculum with school policies. Participate in departmental meetings to discuss teaching strategies and resource allocation. Assist in organizing school events related to science and biology education.
Administrative Duties
Attend to administrative tasks such as maintaining grade books, updating student records, and assisting with extracurricular biology clubs. Ensure compliance with school policies regarding teaching hours, attendance, and professional development.
