PGT Economics Teacher
Core Responsibilities
Teach Economics to classes IX and X, preparing lesson plans that align with the curriculum and assessment standards.
Develop engaging classroom activities that promote critical thinking and real‑world application of economic concepts.
Assess student performance through quizzes, assignments, and examinations, providing constructive feedback.
Secondary Responsibilities
Coordinate with other teachers for interdisciplinary projects and school events.
Maintain accurate attendance records and report student progress to the head of department.
Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to curriculum development initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
Post‑graduate degree in Economics or related field.
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience at the secondary level.
B.Ed. or D.El.Ed required; TET/CTET preferred but not mandatory.
Salary, Location and Application
Salary: Rs.38,000 – Rs.65,000 per month.
Location: Durg, Chhattisgarh.
