Plan and conduct physical education classes for students from classes VI to XII, ensuring age-appropriate activities. Organize inter-house and inter-school competitions, including cricket, football, volleyball, and other local sports events. Collaborate with the school’s sports committee to enhance facilities and infrastructure for physical activities. Mentor students in sportsmanship and healthy lifestyle choices, fostering a balanced academic and extracurricular environment.
Qualification
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a strong background in Physical Education. Experience in teaching physical education at the secondary level is highly desirable. A TET/CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory for this role.
Experience
A minimum of three years of teaching experience in Physical Education, preferably in a school setting. Familiarity with Chhattisgarh’s sports culture and local sports regulations will be an asset. Knowledge of sports science principles and ability to adapt activities for diverse student needs are essential.
