Position summary
Gurukul International School invites applications for a TGT English Teacher in Janjgir Champa. The role focuses on delivering engaging English lessons to classes in the school’s primary and secondary streams, fostering language skills and critical thinking among students.
Reporting and scope
The teacher reports directly to the Head of Department in the English faculty.
Core duties
- Design and implement curriculum aligned with state guidelines for English language development.
- Prepare lesson plans, classroom activities, and assessment tools that cater to diverse learner needs.
- Conduct regular formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
- Participate in faculty meetings, curriculum review sessions, and professional development workshops.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation.
- Collaborate with co‑teachers to integrate cross‑disciplinary projects and school events.
Qualification and experience
Post‑graduation in any discipline, B.Ed or D.El.Ed required. TET/CTET preferred but not mandatory. Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in a school setting. Demonstrated ability to use technology for interactive learning is an asset.
Compensation and location
Salary ranges from Rs.21,000 to Rs.38,000 per month, paid on a monthly basis. Position located at Gurukul International School, Janjgir, Janjgir Champa, Chhattisgarh.
