Gurukul International School in Janjgir Champa seeks a dedicated TGT Sanskrit Teacher to enrich the academic curriculum with classical language and culture. This role focuses on imparting foundational and advanced Sanskrit knowledge while aligning with modern educational standards. The core responsibilities include designing and delivering lesson plans that blend traditional Sanskrit grammar, literature, and Vedic studies with contemporary pedagogical techniques. You will also assess student progress, encourage participation in extracurricular Sanskrit activities like recitations, debates, and cultural festivals, and collaborate with the school’s Sanskrit department to enhance interdisciplinary learning.
To qualify, hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in Sanskrit or a related field. A strong command of Sanskrit, including both classical and modern dialects, is essential. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this position.
A minimum of three years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting, is required. Experience in teaching Sanskrit to students from grades 6 to 12 is highly valued. The role offers a competitive salary of Rs. 21,000 to Rs. 38,000 per month, along with a supportive work environment in Janjgir, Chhattisgarh.
