Day-to-Day Duties
* Teach Economics to students of classes XI and XII, incorporating innovative methods and curriculum designs
* Develop and implement lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations to ensure academic excellence
* Mentor junior staff members and provide guidance on teaching methodologies and classroom management
* Conduct regular parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress and address concerns
* Collaborate with other departments to integrate Economics with other subjects and promote holistic learning
* Analyze board results and develop strategies to improve student performance
* Participate in staff development programs and contribute to school-wide initiatives
* Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessments
* Ensure compliance with school policies and regulations
Eligibility Criteria
* Postgraduate degree in Economics or a related field from a recognized university
* B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree from a recognized institution
* Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in Economics, with at least 2 years of experience in a school setting
* NET or SET qualifications preferred, but not essential
* Strong knowledge of Economics curriculum and pedagogy
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
