Role Summary
Brillant Public School in Korba, Chhattisgarh invites applications for the position of PRT Social Science Teacher to join our dedicated team of educators. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching Social Science to students from Class VI to X. We are looking for a qualified and experienced candidate to lead our Social Science department.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Social Science lessons to students in Class VI to X
- Prepare lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations as per the CBSE curriculum
- Use technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement educational programs
- Supervise students during extracurricular activities and maintain a positive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development programs
- Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration
Who Can Apply
Must Have:
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed in Social Science or related field
- 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of Social Science and its applications
Good to Have:
- CTET or TET certification
- Experience in teaching Social Science to students in Class VI to X
- Familiarity with CBSE curriculum and assessment methods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
