About This Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate TGT Social Science Teacher to join our team at Brillant Public School in Korba, Chhattisgarh. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging Social Science lessons to students and contributing to our school's vibrant learning environment.
Day-to-Day Duties
* Plan and deliver Social Science lessons to students in grades 6-8
* Prepare and administer exams, quizzes, and other assessments
* Develop and implement engaging classroom activities and projects
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
* Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement curriculum units
* Participate in school events and activities
* Provide support and guidance to students with special needs
* Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in Social Science education
* Contribute to the development of our school's curriculum and policies
Eligibility Criteria
* Post-graduate degree in Social Science or a related field
* B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree required
* TET or CTET preferred but not essential
* At least 2 years of experience teaching Social Science in a school setting
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team and manage classroom dynamics
