Day-to-Day Duties
As a Sports Teacher at Woods Valley School, you will be responsible for:
* Developing and implementing sports programs for students, staff, and alumni
* Coordinating and supervising sports events, tournaments, and competitions
* Managing the school's sports equipment, resources, and facilities
* Providing guidance and support to sports teams, coaches, and players
* Collaborating with staff members to promote a culture of sportsmanship and physical fitness
* Maintaining accurate records of sports activities, events, and achievements
* Representing the school in sports-related conferences, meetings, and competitions
* Developing and implementing policies and procedures for sports-related activities
* Ensuring the safety and well-being of students and staff during sports activities
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this position, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:
* B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
* At least 2 years of experience in sports administration, coaching, or related fields
* Strong knowledge of sports, physical education, and recreational activities
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Familiarity with school administration and policies
* TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory
