About This Role
Woods Valley School, a premier educational institution in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced TGT Computer Science Teacher to join our faculty team. The Computer Science Teacher Recruitment in Chhattisgarh will be responsible for teaching Computer Science to students from Class VI to Class XII.
Pedagogy and Tools
The Computer Science Teacher in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, will be expected to use practical methods, tools, and lab activities to engage students in the subject. This will include using interactive software, simulations, and multimedia resources to enhance the learning experience. The TGT Computer Science Teacher will also be responsible for maintaining the computer lab and ensuring that all equipment is in good working order.
What You Will Do
- Plan and deliver lessons on Computer Science to students from Class VI to Class XII.
- Use practical methods, tools, and lab activities to engage students in the subject.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to measure student understanding.
- Provide feedback to students on their performance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum changes.
- Maintain the computer lab and ensure that all equipment is in good working order.
- Organize extracurricular activities related to Computer Science.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to decision-making processes.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the school administration.
Required Qualifications
The successful candidate should possess a postgraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field. A degree in education, such as B.Ed or M.Ed, is highly desirable. The candidate should also have a valid TET/CTET certification, although it is not mandatory.
Preferred Skills
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Computer Science, with experience in teaching the subject to students from Class VI to Class XII. The candidate should be proficient in using software and tools related to Computer Science, such as Python, Java, and HTML. They should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students and colleagues alike.
What You Get
The successful candidate will be offered a salary of Rs.15,000 - Rs.26,000 per month, depending on their experience and qualifications. They will also be entitled to other benefits, including medical insurance and a contributory pension scheme.
