Role Summary
Shakti Mandir Premwati Public Schoo invites applications for a full-time NTT Mathematics Teacher in Central Delhi. The role focuses on delivering foundational Mathematics lessons to young learners in Chanakya Puri. Candidates with two years of experience in early childhood Mathematics teaching will be preferred.
Pedagogy and Tools
Teaching will use Montessori-based Mathematics materials and activity-based learning kits. Shakti Mandir Premwati Public Schoo provides Cuisenaire rods, number flashcards, and simple geometry tools. Lesson plans must include hands-on counting games and shape recognition exercises to build early numeracy.
What You Will Do
Prepare weekly Mathematics lesson plans aligned with the NTT curriculum for ages 3 to 6. Conduct daily circle-time activities that introduce numbers, patterns, and basic operations. Organize Mathematics corners with puzzles and sorting games for self-directed learning. Assess each child’s progress through observation checklists and simple worksheets. Collaborate with the NTT team to integrate Mathematics with storytelling and art activities. Maintain records of daily Mathematics engagement and milestone achievements. Communicate progress to parents during informal meet-ups in the school lobby. Participate in monthly Mathematics resource-sharing sessions with other NTT teachers.
Who Can Apply
Graduates in Mathematics or Education with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed are eligible. Prior experience in pre-primary Mathematics teaching is required. TET/CTET certification will be considered an advantage for Mathematics Teacher Recruitment in Delhi.
