Andhra Education Society seeks a TGT Biology Teacher for a Biology Teacher Recruitment in Delhi at its Chanakya Puri campus. The role involves delivering structured lessons for classes 6 to 10, with emphasis on practical learning and exam alignment. Candidates with a postgraduate degree and three years of Biology teaching experience will be considered.
How You Will Teach
Lessons will integrate lab demonstrations for photosynthesis, respiration, and cell structure. Students will use microscopes, prepared slides, and digital simulations to observe mitosis and osmosis. Andhra Education Society encourages inquiry-based discussions to connect textbook concepts with local ecosystems.
Day-to-Day Duties
Plan weekly Biology lessons aligned to NCERT for classes 6 to 10 and maintain unit-wise progress records.
Conduct practical sessions in the dedicated Biology lab every alternate day for hands-on learning.
Prepare low-cost teaching aids using locally available materials for plant and animal classification.
Organize monthly field observations in nearby parks to study biodiversity and environmental changes.
Assess students through periodic tests, lab notebook evaluations, and viva voce for practical understanding.
Collaborate with the Science department to schedule inter-house Biology quizzes and model exhibitions.
Submit teaching plans and resource requests to the academic coordinator before the start of each term.
Attend staff meetings to discuss student performance and suggest improvements in Biology pedagogy.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Botany, Zoology, or Life Sciences with Biology as a main subject.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with Biology specialization.
TET or CTET is preferred but not mandatory for this TGT Biology Teacher in Central Delhi, Delhi.
Preferred Skills
Ability to simplify complex biological processes for middle and secondary students.
Experience in designing low-budget lab experiments using everyday materials.
Familiarity with digital tools like PhET simulations or virtual labs for Biology visualization.

Monthly salary ranges from Rs.30,000 to Rs.50,000 based on qualifications and experience.
