Teaching Responsibilities
Plan and deliver English language lessons for the designated classes, covering reading comprehension, writing skills, grammar, and oral communication. Design classroom activities that develop vocabulary, pronunciation, and critical thinking through discussions, debates, and creative writing tasks. Assess student progress through regular tests, assignments, and oral evaluations, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate records of performance. Prepare and mark answer sheets, report cards, and progress reports in accordance with school timelines. Conduct remedial sessions for students who need additional support and organize enrichment activities such as poetry recitals or book clubs to foster a love for literature. Ensure classroom discipline and a positive learning environment, adhering to the school’s code of conduct. Collaborative Duties
Work with senior faculty to align English curriculum with overall academic goals and contribute to department meetings. Assist in organizing school events that involve English presentations or performances. Share best practices with colleagues and engage in peer observations when scheduled.
Key Candidate Requirements
- Minimum three years of full‑time teaching experience in English at the school level.
