About This Role
At Avb Public School, we seek to recruit an NTT Evs Teacher who will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our students. As an NTT Evs Teacher, you will be responsible for creating an immersive and interactive learning environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking in our students. You will be handling classes from Nursery to Class 5, teaching Environmental Studies (EVS) in an engaging and innovative manner.
Teaching Approach
Our teaching approach is centered around using modern tools to create a more interactive and engaging learning experience. We use smart boards to create interactive lessons, Google Classroom to facilitate online collaboration, and our LMS to provide students with access to a wealth of educational resources. As an NTT Evs Teacher, you will be expected to utilize these tools effectively to create a stimulating learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of our students.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver EVS lessons in a way that caters to the diverse learning needs of students
- Utilize smart boards, Google Classroom, and our LMS to create engaging and interactive lessons
- Develop and implement innovative teaching methods that stimulate critical thinking and creativity in students
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide constructive feedback to students
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver whole-school events and activities
- Conduct formative assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Utilize technology to enhance student engagement and motivation
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
- Contribute to the development of curriculum and resources for EVS
Required Qualifications
- Post-graduate degree in any stream
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- CTET or TET is preferred but not mandatory
- At least 2 years of experience in teaching EVS to students in Nursery to Class 5
- Strong subject matter expertise in EVS
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
