Job Overview
We are seeking a full-time PGT Chemistry Teacher to join our faculty at Kala Niketan International School in Mayur Vihar, East Delhi, Delhi. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching chemistry to students from class 9 to 12 and will be expected to contribute to the development of our chemistry department.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver lessons to students of class 9 to 12
- Develop and implement engaging and challenging lesson plans
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and grades
- Prepare students for board exams and other assessments
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
- Stay updated with the latest developments in chemistry education and integrate them into the curriculum
- Participate in extracurricular activities and events
Required Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in Chemistry from a recognized university
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution
- TET or CTET qualification is preferred but not mandatory
- Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching chemistry to students of class 9 to 12
- Strong subject knowledge and teaching skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with students and colleagues
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate will be offered a salary range of Rs.42,000 - Rs.70,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to the salary, the candidate will also be entitled to benefits such as medical insurance, paid leaves, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
