What You Will Do
Design and deliver structured English lessons for Classes XI and XII, aligning with CBSE guidelines and examination patterns. Lead curriculum development for PGT English, including lesson plans, worksheets, and assessment tools that reflect local learning needs in East Delhi. Coach students for CBSE board examinations, conduct regular mock tests, and analyze performance trends to improve outcomes.
Organize inter-house debates, elocution contests, and literary quizzes to foster spoken English and critical thinking. Collaborate with the English department to standardize teaching methodologies and share best practices across Mother Global School’s Delhi branches. Integrate digital tools such as interactive whiteboards and language-learning apps to enhance classroom engagement.
Maintain updated teaching portfolios, student progress records, and quarterly reports for parent-teacher meetings. Participate in school-wide academic planning sessions and represent the English department in staff meetings and parent interactions.
Who Can Apply
Postgraduate in English with a minimum of three years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level. B.Ed is mandatory; D.El.Ed holders with relevant experience will also be considered. TET or CTET certification is preferred but not required. Fluency in spoken and written English and familiarity with CBSE exam formats are essential.
