Key Responsibilities
Plan and conduct daily Physical Education periods for senior secondary sections at Mother Global School. Differentiate activities for mixed-ability groups, ensuring inclusion of students with mild learning differences. Organize term-end sports days, yoga sessions, and athletics meets within the school campus.
Coordinate with house captains to schedule practice slots for cricket, basketball, and table tennis. Maintain equipment inventory and report maintenance needs for the sports room and outdoor courts. Document attendance, fitness improvements, and participation scores for each learner.
Prepare teams for inter-school tournaments in East Delhi zones, securing permissions and transport. Collaborate with subject teachers to integrate physical activity into health education lessons. Promote values like discipline, fair play, and resilience through regular coaching interactions.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Physical Education or M.P.Ed from a recognized Indian university. B.Ed or D.El.Ed with specialization in Physical Education is mandatory. Minimum 2 years of full-time Physical Education Teaching Job in Preet Vihar, East Delhi, or equivalent urban school experience.
Preferred Skills
Experience using inclusive pedagogy to engage learners with different motor skills and fitness levels. Strong communication skills to explain rules, techniques, and safety protocols clearly to adolescents. Patience and adaptability to manage large groups during outdoor activities and indoor sessions.
