Role
TGT English Teacher at St Andrews Scots Sr Sec School, Preet Vihar, East Delhi. Full‑time position teaching English to classes IX‑XII.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver the English curriculum as per NCERT guidelines, preparing lesson plans, worksheets and assessments. Conduct regular class tests, evaluate answer scripts and provide constructive feedback to students. Organise co‑curricular activities such as debates, elocution and reading clubs to enhance language proficiency. Maintain classroom discipline, attendance records and communicate progress to parents and senior staff.
Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in English or related discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed. Preference given to candidates who have cleared TET/CTET.
Experience
Minimum four years of teaching experience in a recognized school, handling senior secondary classes and preparing students for board examinations.
Salary
Rs.25,000 - Rs.40,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Location
Based in Preet Vihar, East Delhi, Delhi. Teaching responsibilities confined to the school premises.
