What You Will Do
Create weekly lesson plans aligned with the NCERT curriculum for Grades 6 to 8 in Mathematics.
Differentiate instruction by grouping students for targeted support in algebra, geometry, and data handling.
Use local examples—market rates, metro distances, school event timings—to explain percentages and ratios.
Prepare low-stakes quizzes and puzzles that encourage problem-solving without fear of failure.
Maintain a progress tracker for each student, noting conceptual gaps in integers, linear equations, or mensuration.
Collaborate with special educators to adapt worksheets and assessments for students with diverse learning needs.
Conduct monthly parent-teacher interactions to share student progress and suggest home-based practice routines.
Organize a Mathematics Club where students explore puzzles, Vedic math shortcuts, and real-world math trails around the school.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Mathematics from a recognized university.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with Mathematics as a teaching subject.
Three years of classroom teaching experience in secondary mathematics.
TET or CTET qualification will be considered an advantage but is not mandatory.

Salary and Benefits
