Job Overview
Savanu International School, a renowned institution in Alipur, North Delhi, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced PGT English Teacher to join our faculty. As a PGT English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality English language instruction to students from Classes 9 to 12.

Pedagogy and Tools
In our English teaching department, we employ a range of pedagogical tools and methods to enhance student learning. Our PGT English Teachers are expected to be familiar with and utilize innovative teaching methods, such as literature circles, debate forums, and language labs. These tools enable students to develop their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in a fun and engaging manner.

What You Will Do
As a PGT English Teacher, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering English language lessons to Classes 9 to 12
- Developing and implementing curriculum-aligned English language materials
- Conducting regular assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress
- Providing individualized attention and support to students who require extra help
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide English language initiatives
- Participating in school-wide events and activities that promote English language learning
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Communicating effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress
- Staying up-to-date with current developments in English language teaching and learning

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and experience:
- A postgraduate degree in English or a related field (MA/M.Sc./M.Phil.)
- A B.Ed./D.El.Ed. degree or equivalent
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching English language to students in Classes 9 to 12
- Prior experience teaching in a school setting is highly desirable

Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of Rs.45,000 - Rs.70,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
