Role Summary
What You Will Do
- Design and deliver engaging Geography lessons to students from grades VI to X
- Develop and implement the Geography curriculum in collaboration with the curriculum team
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the Geography curriculum
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement co-curricular activities
- Develop and maintain relationships with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress
- Contribute to the school's efforts to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Supervise students during breaks and extracurricular activities
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participate in staff development programs to enhance your teaching skills
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this role, you must have the following qualifications:
- A postgraduate degree in Geography or a related field
- A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is required for teaching positions
- A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting
- Familiarity with the CBSE curriculum and assessment procedures
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of Rs.45,000 - Rs.70,000 per month. Additionally, you will be entitled to various benefits, including medical insurance, pension scheme, and opportunities for professional development.
