About This Role
What You Will Do
1. Teach Political Science to students in classes 9 to 12.
2. Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
3. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
4. Develop and implement effective assessment strategies.
5. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
6. Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement school-wide initiatives.
7. Stay updated with curriculum developments and best practices in teaching Political Science.
8. Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school-wide decision-making.
9. Provide individualized support to students who require extra help.
Required Qualifications
Must Have:
- Postgraduate degree in Political Science or a related field (M.A. in Political Science)
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree
- 3 years of experience in teaching Political Science at the secondary level
Good to Have:
- CTET or TET certification
- Experience in teaching students with diverse learning needs
- Knowledge of curriculum developments in Political Science
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
