- Design, develop, and implement engaging Physical Education curriculum for students from classes VI to X.
- Conduct regular coaching sessions for students, focusing on sports, games, and physical fitness.
- Collaborate with subject teachers to develop interdisciplinary projects that promote physical and mental well-being.
- Organize and supervise school sports teams, encouraging teamwork and sportsmanship among students.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress and provide feedback.
- Develop and maintain a safe and inclusive Physical Education environment, adhering to school safety protocols.
- Supervise and support students during Physical Education periods, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Participate in staff development programs to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on curriculum developments.
- Attend school meetings and contribute to decision-making processes related to Physical Education.
Required Qualifications
A postgraduate degree in Physical Education or a related field is essential for this role. A minimum of three years of teaching experience in a school setting is required. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory for all teaching positions. Preferably, candidates should have cleared the CTET or TET exam, but it is not mandatory.
