How You Will Teach
In our smart board-equipped classrooms, you will deliver engaging and interactive lessons using a range of digital tools and resources. You will also be responsible for creating and managing online content using Google Classroom and our Learning Management System (LMS). Our blended learning approach requires teachers to be comfortable with technology and able to integrate it into their teaching practice. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure that technology is used effectively to support learning.
What You Will Do
As a TGT Social Science Teacher, you will be responsible for:
* Planning and delivering lessons to students in grades 6-8
* Creating and managing online content using Google Classroom and our LMS
* Using smart boards and digital tools to enhance the learning experience
* Conducting formative and summative assessments to measure student learning
* Providing feedback to students on their work and progress
* Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans
* Participating in school-wide professional development programs to enhance teaching skills
* Integrating technology into lesson plans to support student learning
* Developing and maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
* A postgraduate degree in Social Science or a related field
* A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is required for this role
* A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting
* Experience with technology integration in the classroom is highly desirable
Preferred Skills
We are looking for a candidate with:
* Strong digital literacy skills, including experience with Google Classroom and LMS
* Familiarity with online teaching tools and resources
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
* Strong organizational and time management skills
