Key Responsibilities
Teach Environmental Studies (Evs) to students in grades 6 to 12. Develop and implement lesson plans that emphasize sustainability, conservation, and eco-friendly practices. Conduct hands-on experiments and field trips to reinforce classroom learning. Collaborate with the science department to integrate Evs concepts into interdisciplinary projects.
Qualifications
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Experience in teaching science or environmental subjects preferred. Familiarity with Delhi’s local environmental issues and curriculum frameworks is beneficial.
Experience and Skills
Minimum three years of teaching experience in schools. Strong communication skills to engage diverse student learning styles. Ability to create interactive and practical Evs lessons. Knowledge of NTT (National Teachers’ Evaluation System) guidelines for assessment.
Location and Work Environment
Based at Mount Abu Public School | Rohini in North West Delhi. Work in a well-equipped science lab and classroom environment. Participation in school events and community outreach programs may be required.
