Day-to-Day Duties
Design and deliver age-appropriate Hindi lessons for Nursery through Class XII using activity-based learning and digital aids available in the Rohini campus. Curate monthly lesson plans aligned with CBSE guidelines and ensure 100% coverage before every assessment cycle. Monitor and report student progress through structured rubrics to parents during PTMs held every alternate month.
Conduct weekly mentoring sessions with junior NTT Hindi teachers, demonstrating phonics drills, storytelling techniques, and grammar games in actual classroom settings. Prepare batches of 30–35 students for Hindi recitation competitions at district and state levels held in nearby venues like Pitampura and Shalimar Bagh. Analyze past three years’ board results to identify recurring grammar errors and design targeted worksheets for Classes X and XII.
Organize Hindi Diwas events in September, coordinating skits, elocution, and calligraphy competitions judged by external experts from Delhi University’s Hindi department. Maintain resource files with graded readers, flash cards, and audio-visual content curated from NCERT and CBSE portals. Collaborate with the art teacher to create wall magazines in Hindi every quarter, displayed in the Rohini school corridors.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduate in Hindi with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university. B.Ed or D.El.Ed in Hindi is mandatory. Two years of classroom teaching experience in Hindi at the pre-primary or primary level is required. TET or CTET in Hindi is preferred but not compulsory for this NTT position.
Learning and Development
