Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach mathematics to students in classes 6-8, using innovative and interactive methods to promote learning
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of students with varying learning styles
- Engage with parents through regular parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress and goals
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement school-wide events, such as math fairs and competitions
- Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, fostering a love of learning in students
- Use technology to enhance teaching and learning, such as online resources and multimedia tools
- Participate in school-wide initiatives, such as the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) program
- Develop and implement assessments to monitor student progress and identify areas for improvement
- Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in mathematics education
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this role, you must possess a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree. TET or CTET qualification is preferred but not mandatory. A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience is also required.
