About This Role
St Vivekanad Sr. Sec. School in Kanjhawala, North West Delhi, Delhi is seeking a highly qualified and experienced PGT Biology Teacher to join its team.
What You Will Do
Teach Biology to students from classes 9 to 12
Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of students with varying learning abilities
Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning outcomes
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attendance
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide educational programs
Supervise and mentor student projects and research activities
Participate in departmental meetings to discuss curriculum development and teaching strategies
Contribute to the development of Biology curriculum and teaching materials.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
B.Ed/D.El.Ed qualification required for teaching positions
TET/CTET preferred but not mandatory
Good to Have
Experience in teaching Biology to classes 9-12
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills
Strong knowledge of Biology curriculum and teaching methods
Ability to use technology to enhance teaching and learning
Experience in developing and implementing educational programs
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate will receive a salary of Rs.40,000 - Rs.60,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
