Prepare daily lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum while adapting teaching methods for diverse student learning needs. Conduct interactive sessions, including group discussions and case studies, to foster critical thinking. Maintain a structured classroom environment, ensuring punctuality and discipline while encouraging student participation.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and update syllabi, textbooks, and teaching resources tailored to the latest business studies curriculum. Collaborate with senior faculty to refine teaching strategies and assess student performance through quizzes, projects, and exams. Participate in departmental meetings to discuss academic policies, curriculum updates, and student progress. Mentor students in extracurricular business clubs or competitions, such as business simulations or model UN events.
Periodic Responsibilities
Assess student performance through term-end evaluations, providing constructive feedback on assignments, projects, and practical assessments. Organize guest lectures or workshops with industry experts to bridge theoretical knowledge with real-world business applications. Review and submit progress reports to the school administration, summarizing student achievements and areas needing improvement.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Business Studies or a related field. Possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with a focus on secondary education. Four years of teaching experience in Business Studies at the secondary or senior secondary level is mandatory. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory for this role, it is highly preferred.
