Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced PGT Chemistry Teacher to join our team at St Vivekanand Sr. Sec. School. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Chemistry to students at the senior secondary level, developing engaging lesson plans, and assessing student progress. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and skilled Chemistry Teacher to make a real difference in the lives of our students.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver high-quality Chemistry lessons to students at the senior secondary level
- Prepare and administer formative and summative assessments to evaluate student progress
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and motivation
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement departmental plans and policies
- Provide support and guidance to students, particularly those who require additional assistance
- Stay updated with curriculum developments and pedagogical best practices in Chemistry education
- Contribute to school events and activities that promote student learning and development
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school decision-making processes

Required Qualifications

- Master's degree in Chemistry with B.Ed/D.El.Ed
- CTET/TET certification is desirable but not mandatory
- Minimum 4 years of teaching experience in a senior secondary school setting
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality Chemistry lessons and assessments

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs.40,000 - Rs.60,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Other benefits include a comprehensive school package that includes opportunities for professional development, mentorship, and support.
